Design, usage and summary
The broadband layers are easy to clean. A very good ring, screwed-on, works evenly and easily, with an audible but slight whirr. It is a bit similar to frames used in Marumi filter system. A quite low profile and a narrow ring for unscrewing. Well-made and assembled with care.Similar spectrum characteristics we observed in the cases of the Marumi FIT+SLIM Circular PL, the Zeiss T*, the B+W Circular-Pol E, the B+W Circular-Pol MRC and the Hoya CIR PL filters. The Hoya’s curves are the most similar. The filter works in infrared almost up to 900 nm and has excellent extinction coefficients for green and red; flat characteristics could be observed up to red where the transmission value increases significantly.
